Moscow: Ambassador Terzic assesses knowledge about Serbia on a TV quiz show

Serbian Ambassador to the Russian Federation Slavenko Terzic presided over a panel of judges on "Umnici & Umniki", a TV quiz show promoting education and science, in a semi-final show broadcast on Channel One Russia on 31 March 2018. The forty-minute show was dedicated to Serbia, in the context of a block called "Peoples of the Balkans – History up to WWI". The presenter and host of the quiz broadcast for 26 years now is Yuri Viazemsky, Professor at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

President of Ethiopia Mulatu Teshome Wirtu received Ambassador of Serbia Dragan Mraovic in a farewell visit that was given wide publicity in Ethiopia uncommon for a departing Ambassador of a small country.

Tunisia: Serbian Film “Requiem for Mrs. J” screened at the Week of the Francophonie Film

Serbian Oscar nominee, a film by Bojan Vuletic "Requiem for Mrs. J" was screened in Cité de la Culture, a cultural centre in Tunis, during the Week of the Francophonie Film, an event celebrating the Month of La Francophonie in Tunisia.

Rome: Cooperation between the civil sectors of Serbia and Italy presented

Friday, 30 March 2018.
The project of the Local Development Committee for the River Drina, concerning Bajina Basta and Srebrenica, was presented at a press conference at the Embassy of Serbia in Rome, on 26 March. Civil society organizations of Serbia and Italy, FOSDI and "Amesi", will take part in the project for the first time. Ten young Italians will participate in the voluntary activities of the project that contribute to the sustainable development in Bajina Basta and Srebrenica. FOSDI organization will support their field work in Serbia.

Buenos Aires: A film cycle by Serbian film director Zelimir Zilnik

A series of films "Without reconciliation: films by Zelimir Zilnik" will be shown in Buenos Aires, at the most prestigious "Leopoldo Lugones" movie theatre, within the "San Martin" culture and theatre complex, from 21 March – 8 April 2018.

Banja Luka: “Savindan” magazine promotion at the Consulate General

The Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Banja Luka, in cooperation with the "Sa Ovcara i Kablara" Association, hosted, on 22 March, the promotion of "Savindan" magazine of the Milesevo Cultural Club "St. Sava". President of the Steering Board of the Milesevo Cultural Club "St. Sava" from Prijepolje, Zoran Malesic, presented the history of the Club as well as its activities and publishing. In the artistic segment of the program, the poet Dusko Djukic recited his poem about Banja Luka, Mr. Mirko Vukovic read two old documents about Milesevo Monastery and the student Niksa Dekic recited the poem by Matija Beckovic "The Story about St. Sava".
