Cairo Book Presentation: “Serbia in Egyptian Eyes”

A book "Serbia in Egyptian Eyes – Diplomatic Memories and Cultural Memoirs" was presented on 17 January 2018 at the Diplomatic Club in Cairo. The event was co-organized by the Managing Board of the Egyptian Diplomatic Club and the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, at the initiative of the Embassy of Serbia in Cairo.

NEW YORK: NIKOLA TESLA MEMORIAL CONFERENCE

Friday, 19 January 2018.
The fifth memorial conference dedicated to Nikola Tesla, entitled "Tesla Past, Present and Future 2018", organized by Tesla Science Foundation from Philadelphia, was held on 12 January this year, under the auspices of the Consulate-General of Serbia in New York.

Bratislava: Serbian naive painter’s exhibition at the Gallery of the Slovak Ministry of Culture

Thursday, 18 January 2018.
"The Staircase of Life", a retrospective exhibition of paintings authored by a Naïve artist from Serbia Jan Bacur, sponsored by Serbian Ambassador Sani Dermaku, opened on 15 January 2018 at the Gallery of the Ministry of Culture of Slovakia. The exhibition will run until the end of January.

Tokyo: Cooperation with Toyo Eiwa School programme on Serbia

Monday, 15 January 2018.
A presentation of Serbia entitled "Laboratory Serbia", held at the Serbian Embassy in Tokyo on 12 January, enabled students attending several universities to get to know our country, through a discussion they had with a Japanese language student from Serbia, via Skype.

Florence: A Library in the Serbian Language

On 13 January, "Oblate" Library in Florence hosted the presentation of the project "Babylon Bridge – give a book, build a bridge" given by "Start-up Projects" Association, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Rome, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia in Florence and "Singidunum" diaspora association.

New Delhi: Interview with Ambassador Maric for “Shubh yatra” magazine

Wednesday, 10 January 2018.
Serbian Ambassador to India Vladimir Maric gave an interview for the January edition of "Shubh yatra", the in-flight monthly of the Indian national airline Air India, in which he spoke about the similarities between the two peoples, and also, now that Serbia has abolished visa requirements for Indian nationals, the sights to be seen in our country.
