+ larger fontnormal font- Smaller font
altA presentation of Serbia entitled "Laboratory Serbia", held at the Serbian Embassy in Tokyo on 12 January, enabled students attending several universities to get to know our country, through a discussion they had with a Japanese language student from Serbia, via Skype.

The interaction between the students, through a Q&A session, was conducted in Japanese, in which they showed interest in the living of their peers and the motivation behind their decision to take up Japanese language studies. They also engaged in a Belgrade themed quiz, got acquainted with Serbian folk costumes and enjoyed traditional Serbian meals and drinks. The students, who devised such a concept of learning about Serbia, in a separate workshop presented hand-made soaps from Serbia, available for purchase in Japan.

The study programme is headed by Professor Saori Machida. The event included participation of thirty students from the University of Tokyo, as well as universities such as Waseda, Keio, Sophia, Nihon and Sacred Heart.
