Madrid: Signing of the Zubin Potok Soccer School Opening Agreement PDF Print E-mail

altOwing to an agreement signed by representatives of both "Solidaridad Kosovo", an NGO, and the "Fundación Mareo del Real Sporting de Gijón", a soccer school for Serbian youths is being opened in Zubin Potok. The agreement was signed at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia, on 29 December 2017.

Sofia: Bulgarian edition of the book “The Serbs among the nations of Europe” PDF Print E-mail

altThe history themed book entitled "The Serbs among the nations of Europe", having been translated to Bulgarian, was presented on the premises of the Serbian Embassy in Sofia on 13 December. In the book, author Sima Cirkovic arranged the events chronologically, from the 8th to 20th centuries, and included black-and-white illustrations, historical maps, old geographical maps, bibliography and an index listing names and events. Bulgarian critics described the book as a "brilliant synthesis of classical historiography and historical philosophy".

exhibitionThe 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Sweden was marked on 1 November by staging an exhibition at the gallery of Radovan Korac, an artist of Serbian descent. The exhibition was inaugurated by Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Sweden Dragan Momcilovic.

Tokyo: Ambassador Glisic attends Prime Minister’s luncheon PDF Print E-mail

JapanAmbassador of the Republic of Serbia to Japan Nenad Glisic attended the traditional luncheon, hosted by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, for ambassadors speaking the Japanese language. Besides the Ambassador of Serbia, the luncheon at the Prime Minister's residence, held on 18 December, was also attended by 23 other ambassadors. This tradition offers a good opportunity for exchanging views and sharing experiences concerning diplomatic activity in Japan.
