An exhibition displaying remains of an urban settlement, dated the 3rd and 4th centuries BC, which used to stand in Krsevica near Bujanovac, opened at the Archaeological Museum in Skopje on 21 December and will be running until 11 March.

Archaeological artefacts from Serbia, named "Central Balkans between the Hellenic and Celtic Worlds, Kale – Krsevica 2001 – 2011", have been presented to the public owing to the cooperation forged between the National Museum from Belgrade and the Archaeological Museum of Macedonia, with the assistance of Culture Ministries of both Serbia and Macedonia, and the Embassy of Serbia. The exhibition was officially inaugurated by Robert Alagjozovski, Macedonia's Minister of Culture, and Dusanka Divjak Tomic, Serbia's Ambassador to Macedonia.





The Kale Krsevica archaeological site is located at the Juzna Morava valley, in the village of Krsevica near Bujanovac, a home to important remains of an urban settlement before AD. The settlement had been built according to a Hellenic pattern and positioned next to an important route connecting the Morava-Vardar valley to central Europe and Ancient Greece.
