altTwo Serbian artists – Natasa Veljkovic, piano, and Milica Zulus, violin, gave a concert in Mechelen on 18 March, with the support of the Embassy of Serbia in Belgium. The concert was made possible by association "Amazing Haydn" of Mechelen and the Cultural Centre of Austria. Ambassador of Serbia Marina Jovicevic, Mayor of Mechelen Bart Somers and Cultural Secretary of the city Bjorn Siefer were in attendance.

altSerbian Ambassador to India Vladimir Maric addressed the audiences after the screening of the Serbian-Indian film "Land of the Gods", which opened a film festival in Mussoorie. Ambassador Maric took the opportunity to point out the importance of cultural cooperation between the two countries and the role of cinematography in bringing the two peoples closer together, as well as the symbolic value of the fact that the screening took place in the year marking the 70th anniversary of India-Serbia diplomatic relations.

Tokyo: Presentation of Serbia within the “Friends of the World” project PDF Print E-mail

altIn the context of a project "Friends of the World", Jelena Nikolic and Chihaya Oyaizu from the Embassy of Serbia in Japan visited Shinozaki 2 Elementary School in Tokyo, on 14 March 2018, where the pupils learned about the history of Serbia in the 20th century. The project is carried out by the Committee on Education of the City of Tokyo, in the context of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, while Shinozaki 2 School is tasked with working together with Serbia, Greece and Palestine.
