Serbian Ambassador to India Vladimir Maric presented to Sendhil Thyagarajan, producer of Indian action thriller "Vivegam", shot on location in Serbia, an award for contribution to promoting Serbia as a tourist destination on the Indian market.

The Ambassador visited Mumbai in early March to attend the showcase of film locations. At the initiative of the Serbian Embassy, representatives from the Film Centre of Serbia, Serbian Film Association and Clockwork Film Production took part for the first time. They held a briefing, organized by the Embassy in Chennai, on the opportunities for shooting films in southern Indian languages in Serbia.
