Pretoria: Serbia opens a programmatic section of “Days of Francophonie” festival

Saturday, 17 March 2018.
The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia to South Africa had the honour to inaugurate a traditional event "Days of Francophonie in South Africa with the "Requiem for Mrs. J" movie which was screened on the "Alliance Francaise" non-governmental organization premises in Pretoria. Prior the movie showing, the guests were addressed by Serbian Ambassador to Pretoria Bozin Nikolic.

Thessaloniki: Consular corps in attendance of an exhibition about Nikola Tesla

Friday, 16 March 2018.
Sinisa Pavic, Serbian Consul General in Thessaloniki and senior ranking member of the consular corps took an opportunity to invite his colleagues to an event held at "Noesis" Thessaloniki Science Centre and Technology Museum where they saw the exhibition "Nikola Tesla: the Man of the Future". The event was also attended by the Serbian Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic, Dusan Spasojevic.

Brasilia: Serbian pianist opens “Brasilia Jazz Meeting”

Thursday, 15 March 2018.
Djordje Nesic, a Serbian pianist with a long international career behind him, opened the Brasilia Jazz Meeting festival, held on 9 March at Caixa Cultural in Brasilia, with sponsorship of the Serbian Embassy to Brazil.

Aquileia: A Display of Exhibits on Serbian cultural heritage opened

Wednesday, 14 March 2018.
An exhibition "Treasure and emperors - splendor of the Roman Serbia", mounted in Aquileia, at Palazzo Meizlik, from 10 March to 3 June, was presented at a press conference in the Italian Ministry of Culture.

BERN: EXHIBITION “GOLDEN THREADS OF CYRILLIC ALPHABET” AS PART OF “LET’S NURTURE SERBIAN LANGUAGE” CAMPAIGN

In the framework of "Let's nurture Serbian language" campaign, the Embassy of Serbia in Bern mounted an exhibition of embroidered Cyrillic letters entitled "Golden threads of Cyrillic alphabet". The exhibition of Cyrillic letters embroidered in gold threads with motifs from the Miroslav Gospel was organized by association "Beo-etno vizija" from Belgrade in order to promote the beauty of the Cyrillic alphabet - a custodian of Serbian cultural heritage, its centuries-old traditions, spirituality and identity.

JAKARTA: CULTURAL COOPERATION BETWEEN INDONESIA AND SERBIA

Tuesday, 13 March 2018.
Library "Fadli Zon" from Indonesia and Association for Culture, Art and International Cooperation "Adligat" from Serbia, signed a Memorandum on Cooperation in Jakarta on 12 March 2018, in the presence of representatives of the Serbian Embassy and Indonesian media.
