Jakarta: “Harp on the Mountain”, a Serbian-Indonesian Concert PDF Print E-mail

altThe Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Jakarta co-hosted a Serbian-Indonesian concert "Harp on the Mountain" with Fadli Zon, Vice Speaker of Indonesian House of Representatives, on 28 January 2018. The concert took place at the Sundanese Cultural Village of Paseban. The performance given by Serbian artist Irina Pejoski was accompanied by the traditional Sundanese music and by Indonesian violinist Fakhri. The concert was attended by MPs, members of the diplomatic corps, artists and representatives of Serbian diaspora.

altThe International Holocaust Remembrance Day was observed on 26 January at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in London, by a lecture and a photo exhibition devoted to the Novi Sad raid in 1942. The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, Serbian Orthodox Church, Princess Katherine da Silva and members of Serbian diaspora in London.

Martin: Establishment of a Serbian Consulate PDF Print E-mail

altThe Consulate of the Republic of Serbia with consular jurisdiction in the territories of Žilinský, Banskobystrický and Trenčiansky self-governing regions was formally inaugurated on 22 January 2018 in the Slovak town of Martin. Honorary Consul Mojmír Vrlík heads the Consulate. Enhancement of economic cooperation, cultural exchange and scientific and technical cooperation will be given priority in the work of the Consulate, in the interest of improving bilateral relations and overall cooperation between the two countries.
