Serbian Ambassador to India Vladimir Maric addressed the audiences after the screening of the Serbian-Indian film "Land of the Gods", which opened a film festival in Mussoorie. Ambassador Maric took the opportunity to point out the importance of cultural cooperation between the two countries and the role of cinematography in bringing the two peoples closer together, as well as the symbolic value of the fact that the screening took place in the year marking the 70th anniversary of India-Serbia diplomatic relations.

"Land of the Gods", a Serbia-India co-production directed by Goran Paskaljevic, takes place in India's federal State of Uttarakhand. After the screening, Mr. Paskaljevic, lead actor Victor Banerjee and the Serbian Ambassador took part in a Q&A session with the viewers.
