Brasilia: Serbian Embassy welcomes students and representatives of the Federal District government PDF Print E-mail

altThe Serbian Embassy in Brasilia took part in the Federal District's "Embassy Open Doors" project and, on 5 April, hosted 35 students, ages 9-11, who attend the Vargem Bonita elementary on the outskirts of Brasilia. The Embassy also welcomed the school's teachers, representatives of the Federal District government – Secretariat for International Cooperation and Education, and also the FD First Lady Márcia Rollemberg.

Washington, D.C.: Serbian national costumes and cuisine at the French Embassy’s Cultural Centre PDF Print E-mail

altThe Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Washington D.C. participated in the Francophone Culture Festival in Washington, D.C. The Festival traditionally takes place in March since 2001. Collector of traditional Serbian folklore objects Biljana Regan presented Serbian national costumes, artefacts and handicrafts in the final ceremony held at the French Embassy's Cultural Centre, on 23 March 2018. Promotional and tourist brochures about Serbia were shown and distributed to the visitors, who were also served rakija (plum brandy), wine and traditional desserts.

altAmbassador of the Republic of Serbia to Romania Branko Brankovic gave an interview for the Romanian AGERPRES News Agency, where he talked about current affairs including Serbia's accession to the EU, its relationship with NATO and about Kosovo.

The Ambassador pointed out that Serbia and Romania had an excellent political cooperation, maintained at such a high level that both countries needed to make an additional effort to reach similar quality of economic relations, too.
