Paderborn: Serbia as a guest country at the International Festival of Encounters

An event „Serbian night" officially opened on 29 June, in the Schlosshalle of the Paderborn castle, as an introduction to the International Festival of Encounters and organized by the Society of Serbo-German friendship "Nikola Tesla". International encounters are held every year in Paderborn, and this year Serbia was the guest country.

Brasilia: Brazilian audiences attend screening of “See You in Montevideo”

Wednesday, 27 June 2018.
As a segment of the events marking the 80th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Brazil, a Serbian film was screened for the first time in Brazil's capital. The film shown was none other than See You in Montevideo using the storyline about Serbia's historic win in a soccer match against Brazil to depict early 20th century former Yugoslavia and Serbia.

New Delhi: Serbia presented to young Indian leaders

Ambassador of Serbia to India Vladimir Maric held a video presentation entitled "India and Serbia, Youth Dialogue" for a group of Indian entrepreneurs, representatives of non-governmental organizations and students. He presented Serbia as a business and tourist destination. The presentation was held at the Embassy of Serbia in cooperation with the Indian Confederation of Young Leaders.

Paris: Presentation of Serbian cuisine

Tuesday, 26 June 2018.
Tasting of the traditional products of Serbian cuisine was organized at the residence of the Republic of Serbia in Paris, on 14 June. The famous French chef Cyril Rouquet-Prévost prepared dishes before the guests, using Serbian ajvar (red pepper chutney) in a creative way. The presentation was accompanied by the sounds of traditional Serbian music.

Sidi Bou Said: Poet Danilov at the International Poetry Festival

Monday, 25 June 2018.
Dragan Jovanovic Danilov, a recipient of several poetry prizes (Awards: Zmaj, Momo Kapor, Mesa Selimovic, Branko Miljkovic, SANU - Branko Copic Endowment, etc.) participated in the International Poetry Festival in Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia, held from 22-24 June, with the support of the Embassy of Serbia in Tunis, at the recommendation of the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade.
