Sidi Bou Said: Poet Danilov at the International Poetry Festival |

![]() Danilov recited his poetry in Serbian on several occasions, accompanied by traditional Malouf music (a mix of Andalusian and oriental sound) from many of his collections. The translation of poems in French and Arabic is yet another contribution to cultural diversity of the festival of poetry which after five years of existence became one of the most important events of this kind in the Mediterranean basin. ![]() Poets from the following 16 countries took part in the festival: Iraq, Palestine, Taiwan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Lebanon, Malta, Portugal, Poland, Tunisia, France and Serbia. Danilov's participation in the event brought Serbia several invitations to festivals around the world and considerably increased our country's visibility in the Mediterranean. |
