Buenos Aires: Serbian dishes served to Argentinians at famous café Tortoni

On 22 August 2018, the Buenos Aires Café Tortoni was venue of a cultural event about Serbia, organized in the context of the fourth "Diplomatic Café" cycle "Images and Flavours of Serbia". The visitors were able to enjoy the Serbian-style breakfast and to acquaint themselves with the customs related to celebrating the family patron saint's day, while they were welcomed with quince preserve and pogacha.

Timișoara: Twenty-fifth anniversary of the “Days of Transfiguration”, a literary and spiritual event organized by the Serbs in Romania

The "Days of Transfiguration", a literary and spiritual event organized by the Serbs in Romania, was officially inaugurated at the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Timișoara, on 17 August 2018. The event, which celebrates its 25th anniversary, aims to cultivate the Serbian language and to preserve the modern Serbian language in the diaspora.

Tehran: Ambassador Todorovic - Cultural exchange fosters bilateral cooperation in all areas

Serbian Ambassador to Iran Dragan Todorovic made a guest appearance on Culture Radio programme "Pars Namak", where he talked about the cultural cooperation between the two countries, in particular about literature. Ambassador imparted the fact that eight Serbian literary works had been translated to Persian/Farsi so far and that an agreement had been made to translate the most important works of great Serbian novelists, Ivo Andric and Mesa Selimovic.
