Algeria: Media cover the meeting of Ambassador Jankovic with Algerian Minister of Industry and Mines

A number of leading Algerian media outlets reported on the meeting of Ambassador Aleksandar Jankovic with Mr. Youcef Yousfi, the Minister of Industry and Mines of Algeria. The El Moudjahid and The Horizons dailies underlined that the economic cooperation between the two countries featured as the topic of the talks, with emphasis on industry and mining. The collocutors also touched on the ways of forming links and encouraging cooperation between the two countries' companies in areas of the machinery, electronic industry, chemicals, mining and new technologies. The Sud Horizons portal also reported the news, drawing on the state-owned Algeria Press Service news agency as its source.

Grasshopper: Consul Petrović presented the teaching literature to primary school

Monday, 22 October 2018.
Serbia's Consul General in Rijeka, Mr. Goran Petrovic, visited the "Skakavac" primary school in the place having the same name, near Karlovac, where supplementary school classes in the Serbian language and Cyrillic script are being held, and donated additional teaching literature provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia.

De Marne: An exhibition devoted to Nurse Westerhof who nursed the Serbs in the Balkan Wars

An exhibition "The Brave Woman in Time of War - Nurse Westerhof from Lens", dedicated to the Red Cross nurse Ailke Westerhof, who was in Serbia during the Balkan Wars and at the beginning of World War I, was opened at the De Marne Library in Lens.

Düsseldorf: Exhibition "Your place is our place - 50 years old unity"

The exhibition "Your place is our place - 50 years old unity", organized by the Consulate General of Serbia on the occasion of the 50th anniversary since the signing of the Agreement on the Employment of the citizens of former Yugoslavia in the Federal Republic of Germany, was hosted in the City Hall, 8 to 22 October. The exhibition was opened by State Secretary for Diaspora of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ivica Tončev and Deputy Mayor of Düsseldorf Friedrich Koncen.

Prague: The performance of the "Atelje 212" theatre in the City Library

Saturday, 13 October 2018.
"Atelje 212" theatre had its performance in Prague for the first time, thanks to the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia, the Serbian Cultural Society "Radost" and "Organization of Students Abroad". The play "Coffee and cigarettes - greetings from Belgrade", directed by Mia Knezevic, was performed in the big hall of the City Library, on October 13th, and the audience was addressed by Ambassador Vera Mavrić and Director of the "Atelje 212" theatre Branimir Brstina. A day later, monodrama "The Bridge over the Drina" by Tihomir Stanic was performed in the City Library.
