 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic held today the first meeting with a group of ambassadors from Arab countries in Belgrade. Minister Mrkic briefed them on all key developments from the UN General Assembly session, the meetings that President Tomislav Nikolic had and many other activities of the Serbian delegation during its visit to New York.

Foreign Minister Mrkic meets with the UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan |

 In a very sincere and friendly meeting, the two Ministers agreed that the UAE Foreign Minister pay an official visit to Belgrade early next year. They jointly assessed that the two countries' relations have reached an unprecedented rise, primarily as a result of the friendship and common visions of Crown Prince Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic. In addition to discussing the ongoing projects, they also addressed new ones, a topic which will be further elaborated in the coming weeks. UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his gratitude for the relaxation of the visa regime and commended the Serbian state leadership for its policy towards Albanians in Kosovo and Metohija.

UN – Mrkic: Every letter of the Brussels Agreement must be respected |

 Serbia is sending out a message that it wishes to implement what it has agreed to in the Brussels Agreement, but requests that both sides abide by every letter of the agreement, said Serbian Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkic during the UNGA in New York.
"Both sides must respect every letter of the Agreement and that must be confirmed in practice, on a daily basis, so that we can move forward", Mrkic said.

 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic will meet today with his colleagues, the Foreign Ministers of Greece – Evangelos Venizelos, Egypt – Nabil Fahmy and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, on the fringes of the fourth day of the UN General Assembly session. Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkic will participate in a high-level roundtable discussion on nuclear disarmament in the world.

 The priorities of the diplomatic mission in the Netherlands will be to achieve closer parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, but also economic one, since the potentials in this area are underutilized, said the newly appointed Serbian Ambassador to the Netherlands Petar Vico. |
