Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajcak agreed during their meeting in Belgrade that the relations between the two countries were very good which, they said, was reflected in the intensity of the meetings between Serbian and Slovak officials.

The Republic of Serbia welcomes the information of the UN Secretary-General, Mr. Ban Ki-moon on the findings of the UN Mission tasked to investigate the use of chemical weapons in Syria. We support the condemnation of chemical weapons. As a State Party to the Convention on the prohibition of chemical weapons and on their destruction, we are in favour of its complete elimination.
