Ljubica VasicAssistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for EU Ljubica Vasic had talks today, in Belgrade, with Ernst Reichel, Special Envoy of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Southeast Europe, who is on a working visit to the region.

The talks focused on the topics related to Serbia's EU integration and German support in the process was underlined. The Special Envoy of the German Foreign Ministry pointed out that there were no new conditions for opening the EU-Serbia negotiations, but that full compliance with the agreements reached in Brussels was expected.

AMFA Ljubica Vasic informed about the preparations made in Serbia for starting the negotiations with the EU and about the establishment of its negotiation structures. She underlined that the Serbian Government was fully committed to the implementation of the Brussels Agreement and that the results were quite visible. She assessed that the relations in the region were stable and that Serbia was committed to the enhancement of good-neighbourliness and cooperation with all the countries in the region. She thanked Germany for its support to Serbia on its European path.

Special Envoy Е. Reichel initiated signing of an agreement on cultural cooperation between the two countries, which was welcomed by our side.
