Lithuania ratifies SAA PDF Print E-mail

euVilnius – Lithuanian Parliament ratified today the Stabilization and Association Agreement with Serbia. Lithuania was the last EU Member State which has not ratified the SAA, and with today's ratification the SAA will automatically become effective.

unBefore the United Nations Security Council session which will review the regular quarterly progress report on Kosovo and Metohija, Mrkic met in New York, today, with UNMIK Chief Farid Zarif, who stated that changes had been noted at KiM following the signing of the Agreement between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels, says the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Zarif informed Mrkic extensively on the security situation on the ground and the Serbian Foreign Minister underlined as very important the presence and engagement of UNMIK, whose activity, as he put it, must be highly unbiased.
