Paris: Documentary "Serbs on Corfu – 100 years since the Albanian Golgotha" shown at UNESCO PDF Print E-mail

altOn 22 November, the permanent delegation of Serbia to UNESCO organized a screening of a documentary film entitled "Serbs on Corfu - a hundred years since the Albanian Golgotha" for representatives of permanent delegations of UNESCO member states and of the UNESCO Secretariat.

Luxembourg: Promotion of anthology "Many faces of 1918" at Pierre Werner Institute PDF Print E-mail

altThe Anthology entitled "Many Faces of 1918: fall, new beginning, liberation, a respite in the European civil war", a project which gathered 17 countries working on its realization over the last two years, was presented on 20 November at the Institut Pierre Werner in Luxembourg. Serbia was represented by writer Aleksandar Gatalica and an excerpt from his novel "The Great War".

Tokyo: A screening of the film "The Long Journey to War" at Meiji University PDF Print E-mail

altStudents of the Meiji University School of Arts and Letters attended a screening of "The Long Journey to War", a Serbian documentary film about the causes of World War I, directed by Milos Skundric. The screening held on 21 November was sponsored by the Serbian Embassy in Tokyo, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and the Media of the Republic of Serbia.

altThe Serbian language evening school in Copenhagen hosted a multimedia programme devoted to the centenary since the end of World War I, when Ambassador Jasmina Mitrovic Maric and history teacher Ksenija Maricic illustrated the significance and importance, bravery and freedom-loving spirit of our ancestors through music, poetry and stories about the Great War.
