Toncev - Scott - KohorstState Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Toncev had talks today with U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott and U.S. Ambassador to Croatia Robert Kohorst.

During the talks, the State Secretary emphasized that the relations between Serbia and the United States were of extreme importance to our country. He underlined that Serbia was firmly committed to EU membership and that it was investing efforts towards regional stability and development.

BakuBilateral political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan were held in Baku, on 17 and 18 April.

The Serbian delegation was headed by MFA Political Director Zoran Vujic, and the delegation comprised Ambassador of Serbia to Azerbaijan Nebojsa Rodic, First Counsellor Milica Tomic and Second Secretary Danica Veinovic.

Current issues in the field of bilateral cooperation and possibilities for its promotion were discussed in the cordial talks. Agriculture, tourism, culture, education and sports were recognized as the areas of common interest. The two sides also discussed concrete proposals they both supported and understood, which would be further elaborated in the future.

On this occasion, Minister Dacic presented to the laureates the annual prize awarded for the first time by the Ministry's Union, for exceptional work performance and collegiality.
