Dacic with TuskFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic welcomed today, at Nikola Tesla Airport, President of the European Council Donald Tusk.

The Serbian Foreign Minister underlined that it was a great honour that, not long after the visit by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, another EU top official was in Serbia today.

During his visit to Belgrade, the President of the European Council will have talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

 Ivica Dacic with Pascale MoreauFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Pascale Moreau, Director of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees' Regional Bureau for Europe.

In the meeting the officials welcomed the years-long successful mutual cooperation in providing care to refugees and internally displaced persons in Serbia, particularly through the implementation of the Regional Housing Programme which was currently in full swing. They touched upon successfully facing migration in the region in the previous period, in which context Serbia was commended for its efforts in dealing with this major challenge, while fully respecting all the rights of the migrant population.

Greek Days in Belgrade eventFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic, together with Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the Republic of Serbia Elias Eliadis and Mayor of Jagodina Dragan Markovic, visited today the event Greek Days in Belgrade and exhibition entitled "Ancient Greece", on display at the Museum of Yugoslavia.

Minister Dacic emphasized that Serbia and Greece were tied by bonds of great friendship as well as significant mutual assistance and support. He also recalled the strong ties forged between Serbia and Greece through history.

Dacic and Ossowski discuss Serbia’s European perspective, Serbia-Germany cooperation PDF Print E-mail

Ivica Dacic and OssowskiFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic, at the margins of the conference "New Perspectives for the Western Balkans", hosted by the ISAC Fund, met with Thomas Ossowski, Director for EU Policies in the German Federal Foreign Office.

In the meeting, the officials discussed Serbia's European perspective and common challenges ahead. They particularly pointed to the advanced level of cooperation and highly developed bilateral relations between Germany and Serbia, at both technical and top political levels.

Serbia’s readiness to further develop its traditionally friendly relations and cooperation with Palestine PDF Print E-mail

Palestine First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic talked today with the State of Palestine Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Europe, Amal Jadou, who is heading the Palestinian delegation at the talks held within the first round of bilateral political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the State of Palestine.

The political consultations between the Republic of Serbia and the State of Palestine are carried out in line with the Memorandum of Understanding on political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the State of Palestine, signed by Ministers Ivica Dacic and Riyad al Maliki, in July 2015, during the official visit to the Republic of Serbia by President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas.
