The Embassy of Serbia participated in the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), held from 4 to 9 September, the first major off-line international event held in China since the outbreak of the pandemic. President Xi Jinping delivered a speech via video link.

Iranian website "Purson" published in Farsi, ran an interview with Ambassador Dragan Todorovic on bilateral relations between Serbia and Iran. Ambassador Todorovic emphasized that cultural diplomacy was one of the best ways to boost all other bilateral ties.

Argentinian "Vis-à-vis" portal on 3 August ran an author text by Ambassador Jela Bacovic on the Jewish community in Serbia. In the text, Ambassador Bacovic covered the period since the settlement of the Jews in the territory of Serbia in the 16th century until the present day, stressing that they have always occupied an important and distinguished place in our society, with trade and fine craftsmanship as their line of business.

In its 28 July issue, Canadian-Serbian Slovo magazine ran an interview with Serbian Consul General in Toronto Vasilije Petkovic who called on companies and individuals interested in doing business in Serbia to contact the Consulate for information on available incentives.

In a handwritten congratulatory note addressed to candidates applying for Chinese universities, published on Weibo social media platform, Ambassador Milan Bacevic wished to "all those preparing to gain knowledge, skills and ideas to last them a lifetime, that entrance exams be yet another engine to propel them boldly closer to their own future, that of their country and society".
