Istanbul: Minister Ersoy visited Serbian booth at tourist trade fair PDF Print E-mail

altAt the invitation of Ambassador Zoran Markovic, Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Ersoy visited the Serbian booth at the travel and tourism exhibition held in Istanbul. Ambassador Markovic familiarized the Minister with winter resorts in Serbia, particularly focusing on the Kopaonik Mountain. He underlined that Belgrade had already become an attractive tourist destination for Turkish visitors, with around 100,000 Turkish tourists having visited the Serbian capital last year, but that they should learn more about what other cities had to offer as well. Minister Ersoy was interested in what were the Serbian tourists' expectations of the Turkish market.

Tokyo: Seminars on Serbian cultural heritage held in Japanese PDF Print E-mail

altOn 2 February, in the context of the "Serbian Month" project, the Embassy in Tokyo hosted a "Serbian Day" which included a series of seminars and workshops about the Serbian cultural heritage, language, folk dances and traditional cuisine, all held in the Japanese language. The free admission "Serbian Day" was co-hosted with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on the premises of the JICA Global Plaza.
