University of Belgrade law students visit Ministry of Foreign Affairs PDF Print E-mail

1sapa16519 The MFA Diplomatic Academy organized a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia for students of the Belgrade University Faculty of Law, members of ELSA (European Law Students Association in Belgrade).

On this occasion, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Veljko Odalovic addressed the students.

The Secretary General presented the organizational structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the students and the responsibilities of each individual department within the Ministry, including the network of diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Serbia in the world. He also spoke about the foreign policy priorities of Serbia and the challenges facing the country on its way to achieving them, as well as about the characteristics of diplomacy as a profession. Mr. Odalovic elaborated on the importance that the legal profession had at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, upon request by the interested students.

Following the lecture, law students visited the Museum of Serbian Diplomacy permanent exhibition.
