Minister Dacic said that Serbia was committed to building best possible relations with Tanzania, based on friendship and cooperation established in the years when Tanzania gained independence.

Minister Dacic underlined education, pharmaceutical industry, tourism and agriculture as potential areas for cooperation.

Minister Kabudi voiced great pleasure at the visit by a high-ranking Serbian official to Tanzania, the first visit at this level after several decades.

He expressed his readiness to cooperate with Serbia in all areas of mutual interest, on the basis of trust and respect Tanzania and Serbia fostered for many years, saying that he also would soon visit Belgrade.

The interlocutors agreed that strengthening mutual communication between Serbia and Tanzania was necessary, as well as pinpointing concrete areas for successful cooperation.
