REPUBLIC OF SERBIA OPENS CONSULATE IN THE TOWN OF MARTIN, SLOVAK REPUBLIC, HEADED BY HONORARY CONSUL |

The Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in the town of Martin, Slovak Republic, headed by honorary consul Dr. Mojmir Vrlik, was formally established on 22 January 2018. In line with the usual diplomatic practice, the Consulate was opened at a formal ceremony and Letters of Commission and Exequatur were exchanged. On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister Mrs. Vera Vukićević handed over the Commission to the Honorary Consul with consular jurisdiction in Žilina, Banská Bystrica and Trenčin self-governing regions. The Consulate of the Republic of Serbia thus started its activities.

DECISION OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA ON VISA EXEMPTION FOR TNE NATIONALS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SURINAME, HOLDERS OF ALL PASSPORTS |

At its meeting of December 28, 2017, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Decision on visa exemption for the nationals of the Republic of Suriname, holders of all passports. The Decision is published in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia" No.119/2017 of December 29, 2017, and enter into force of January 5, 2018 Under the Decision, the nationals of the Republic of Suriname can enter, transit through and stay in the territory of the Republic of Serbia without a visa, during a period not exceeding 30 days from the date of entry, within period of one year, if there are no hindrances defined in Article 11 of the Law on Foreigners. |

At its meeting of 8 December 2017, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Decision on visa exemption for entry in the Republic of Serbia for the nationals of the Republic of the Guinea Bissau, holders of all passports. The Decision is published in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia" No. 111/2017 of 11 December 2017 and enter into force on 19 December 2017. Under the Decision, the nationals of the Republic of the Guinea Bissau can enter, transit through and stay in the territory of the Republic of Serbia without a visa, during a period not exceeding 30 days from the date of entry, within period of one year, if there are no hindrances defined in Article 11 of the Law on foreigners.
