In the talks, the interlocutors noted the traditionally good bilateral relations between the two countries and expressed mutual interest in their further enhancement, especially in the economic field. Both sides underlined the importance of intensifying the high- and top-level political dialogue in the coming period.

Minister Dacic particularly thanked the Lebanese Republic for its principled position regarding non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo, expressing his belief that the Lebanese side would continue to support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.

Serbia will continue to make its active contribution to the UNIFIL mission in Lebanon, through the engagement of SAF members.
