Ivica DacicFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic sent a message of condolences to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt Sameh Hassan Shoukry following the terrorist attack on a mosque in northern Sinai Peninsula, which resulted in a loss of over two hundred lives.

"It is with great sadness and disbelief that we received the news of the terrorist attack in your country.

On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and on my own behalf, allow me to offer most profound condolences over the loss of innocent lives.

It is hard to find words of comfort for those who lost their beloved ones. Please convey to the families and friends of those who died in the attack as well as to the people of Egypt sincere sympathy of the people of Serbia, and wishes for a speedy recovery of those injured.

May I take this opportunity to express my strongest condemnation of these and all other terrorist attacks solely aimed at taking human life, creating chaos and dealing a blow to the civilizational values of the world today as well as to the right of every human being to live and express oneself free of fear.

I wish to express Serbia's unreserved readiness to make our maximum contribution - in every possible way, in cooperation with you and all those who share our condemnation of such barbaric acts – in order to stamp out this biggest evil of our times", says the condolence message from Minister Dacic.
