Minister Dacic and Vice President of Argentina: “No outstanding issues between Serbia and Argentina”

Dacic - G. MichettiOn the first day of his visit to the Argentine Republic, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic talked to the Vice President of that country, Ms. Gabriela Michetti.

In a substantive and very cordial conversation, the two sides noted that the bilateral political relations were at a very high level.

The interlocutors assessed that there were no outstanding issues between the two countries, that cooperation in international organizations had improved, and the importance of respecting the principles of international law and territorial integrity, which both countries advocated, had been emphasized in particular.

Minister Dacic and Vice President Michetti exchanged views about regional issues, too, including the common security challenges and risks. They also agreed that it was necessary to complement the extraordinary political relations with economic cooperation, too, for which interest existed in both countries.

Following the meeting with Vice President Michetti, Minister Dacic will deliver an address "Serbia's Foreign Policy against the Backdrop of Current Challenges" at the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI).

The Serbian Foreign Minister will tomorrow meet, in Buenos Aires, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Argentina Jorge Marcelo Faurie and will officially unveil a mural at the Square of Serbia – Belgrade's gift to Buenos Aires.
