DFollowing the news that Suriname has recognized Kosovo as an independent state, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic said that this was, unfortunately, a result of the heavy pressure exerted by the sponsors of Kosovo's independence on countries which have not recognized it so far, especially after their failure in UNESCO.
