First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia met today with Axel Dittmann, the Ambassador of Germany in Belgrade, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Dittmann delivered to Minister Dacic an invitation to participate in a side-event, to be hosted by Germany's OSCE Chairmanship during 71st Session of UN General Assembly, concerning the power of civilian crisis management and the strengthening of the capacities of the OSCE as an arrangement under Chapter VIII of the UN Charter. The Ambassador underlined the special role to be played by Foreign Ministers of the OSCE Troika, of which Serbia is a member, expressing his expectation that Minister Dacic would take part in this event. Ambassador Dittmann also showed interest in Serbian Foreign Minister's participation in the Informal Meeting of Foreign Ministers of OSCE Participating States, to be held in Potsdam, on 1 September.

Minister Dacic confirmed that he would take part in the Potsdam OSCE Informal Ministerial Meeting, underlining his expectation that the event would prove a good preparation for the OSCE Ministerial Council, to take place in Hamburg, in December 2016.
