The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia welcomes the decision to lift sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran, following the report of the International Atomic Energy Agency confirming that Iran has complied with all the restrictions placed on its nuclear activities under the Agreement on Iran’s Nuclear Programme signed between Iran and the P5+1 format countries in Vienna, on 14 July 2015.



 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia expresses its hope and expectation that the lifting of sanctions will open up more possibilities for dialogue, thus contributing to peace, stability and improvement of the situation in the region and the world at large.
