logo ministarstvaGiven the current volatile situation in the Republic of Macedonia following the showdown between Macedonian police and members of an armed terrorist group, Serbian nationals are not advised to travel to the Republic of Macedonia. Serbian nationals intending to return home from Greece should use alternative routes via Bulgaria, although there is a possibility of being held up at the border for a longer period of time. For updates, Serbian nationals may contact the Embassies of the Republic of Serbia in Skopje and Sofia, as well as the Consulate General in Thessaloniki. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to closely monitor the situation and regularly inform the public.
