First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu.


Head of Turkish diplomacy commended Serbia’s OSCE Chairmanship, as well as the successful organization of the 2015 OSCE Ministerial Council. He also extended his congratulations on opening the first chapters in Serbia’s accession negotiations with the EU.

The Ministers discussed all bilateral issues of mutual interest. They agreed that it was necessary to preserve the continuity of regular high-level dialogue, and also to intensify all aspects of bilateral relations between Serbia and Turkey.

Both Ministers recognized the importance of Serbian-Turkish relations for stability in the region.
