 MFA Secretary General Veljko Odalovic stated today that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued clear instructions to all the diplomatic and consular missions in the world to open special bank accounts, and a global account intended for assistance to flood victims, into which payments can be made via PayPal from 193 countries, was also opened in Brussels.

 First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic stated that he had been informed that Serbia would receive humanitarian aid worth more than EUR 400 000, by the order of Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan. The aid will be delivered during the day on board Ilyushin -76 special flight, from Baku to Belgrade.

 Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today that our country now needed, above all, assistance in the form of equipment and rescue teams in order to save all cities and people at risk of flooding, following which there would be a need for another kind of assistance – that in the form of reconstruction of the country and donations to that effect.
