The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia has been following with great attention the overall developments in the broader region of the Middle East and, in this context, voices its hope that, among other efforts, the negotiations in the P5+1 format with the Islamic Republic of Iran will result in reaching an agreement in the best interest of Iran, the region, and the world at large.

In this regard, the Ministry urges Iran and all actors in the negotiations to make their maximum efforts and to enable, through a constructive approach, the reaching of a sustainable solution, in order that the people of Iran and all other peoples living in the region could continue their unhindered development in the atmosphere of peace, stability, and mutual cooperation.
