Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic talked today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Belgrade, Dr. Falah Abdulhasan Abdulsada.

It was noted in the talks that the cooperation between the two countries is developed, but that there are possibilities for its further enhancement, particularly in the economic area.

The importance of maintaining a regular political dialogue through the exchange of officials' visits was highlighted.

Minister Mrkic emphasized that the Republic of Serbia strongly supports the Government of the Republic of Iraq in its fight against terrorism and all forms of violence.
