On 29 November 2013, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic received a courtesy call from Charge d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of San Marino in Belgrade Scipione Caneva.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the achieved level of relations and exchanged views on the possibilities for their further improvement.
