Stevanovic with BondarRegular political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine at the level of State Secretary and Deputy Minister were held today in Belgrade.

The Serbian delegation was headed by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nemanja Stevanović, while the Ukrainian delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bodnar.

Dacic with ChepurinFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade Alexander Chepurin.

The Serbian side expressed gratitude to the Russian Federation for its firm and consistent support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia, its persistent and strict adherence to UNSC Resolution 1244 (1999), as well as for its efforts to resolve the issue of Kosovo and Metohija through dialogue and readiness of both sides for compromise.

Ivica DacicFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić talked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Andrew Bridgen, a member of UK Parliament who will be the chair to All-party Group of Friendship with Serbia starting in June.

Both sides assessed the bilateral relations between Serbia and the United Kingdom as good and stable and that the intensification of political dialogue and cooperation in all fields of common interest was important to both sides.

Ivica DacicFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic has conferred today with the Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) June Soomer who is on a visit to the Republic of Serbia at its invitation.

The two collocutors expressed their pleasure at the first visit paid by the ACS high-ranking official since the admission of the Republic of Serbia as an Observer to this regional organization which brings together a large number of the Caribbean states. Mutual readiness for further cooperation was also reaffirmed at the meeting.

Minister Dacic recalled the traditionally friendly relations existing between the two countries dating back to the period of time when the people of Guinea Bissau fought for independence and the time of cooperation within the Non-Aligned Movement.
