Republic of Liberia revokes recognition of Kosovo

Wednesday, 20 June 2018.
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić met today in Belgrade with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia, Gbehzohngar Milton Findley, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Serbia. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia submitted a diplomatic note to Minister Dačić, annulling their decision to recognize the independence of Kosovo. Minister Findley noted that the Government of the Republic of Liberia had recognized the fact that Belgrade and Pristina were negotiating under the auspices of the EU and therefore it revoked its recognition of Kosovo's independence until the talks are finalized.

Children of Serb returnees to Croatia visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

A group of 25 Serbian primary schoolchildren of Pakrac and Krnjak area in the Republic of Croatia started their third day of visit to Serbian institutions and Belgrade places of interest by visiting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where they were welcomed - on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, by Ambassador Aca Jovanovic, Acting Assistant Minister of Consular Affairs, who informed them of the unique opportunity to visit the Ministry's Museum of Serbian Diplomacy and learn about prominent Serb diplomats to whom the Serbian people are indebted, because of their activity.

Traditionally friendly relations between Serbia and DR Congo fundamental to promotion of cooperation in all areas

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Foreign Affair Ivica Dačić met today with the Minister of Communications and Media of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Lambert Mende Omalanga. Minister Dačić reminded that Serbia was proud of the history of our relations and of cooperation dating back to the times of former Yugoslavia. He underscored that our country fostered Yugoslav politics towards the entire Africa, reminding that the First Conference of Non-Aligned Countries was held in the former SFRY and that Serbia declared 25 May as the Day of Friendship with the Peoples of Africa.

Minister Dačić received Ambassador of India on a farewell visit

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić received Ambassador of India in the Republic of Serbia Narinder Chauhan on a farewell visit. On this occasion, Minister Dačić thanked Ambassador Chauhan for a very successful and dynamic cooperation during her term in Belgrade.
