Doha: Ambassador Pozderac gave interview to the "Gulf Times" on bilateral cooperation

The Qatari daily "Gulf Times" on 10 November 2019 published an interview with Ambassador Jasminko Pozderac on cooperation between Serbia and Qatar. Ambassador Pozderac spoke about successful development of bilateral cooperation, referring to the recent visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy of Serbia to Qatar when the text of the Agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Serbia concerning Serbian workforce employment in the State of Qatar was harmonized. Ambassador Pozderac pointed to the possibilities of further development of cooperation in the field of economy, tourism, sports and culture.

Chicago: Promotion of Serbia at the "Passport to the World" event

Saturday, 09 November 2019.
Consulate General in Chicago had its stall at the "Passport to the World" event hosted by the Rotary One Club in the Banquet Room of the Union League Club. The Serbian stall featured Serbian tourism potential by offering promotional materials of the Tourism Organization of Serbia, the Belgrade Marathon and spa tourism in Vrnjacka Banja.

Banja Luka: Consul General Nikolic received University Charter Award

Consul General Vladimir Nikolic received University Charter Award for his outstanding contribution to the development of Banja Luka University and to the development of higher education in 2018. The Charter was handed to the Consul General at the academy on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of Banja Luka University held at the National Theater of Republika Srpska on 7 November.

Buenos Aires: Nikola Tesla Salon opens at the Embassy

Wednesday, 06 November 2019.
Nikola Tesla's Salon opened at the Embassy of Serbia in Buenos Aires on November 4, with a permanent display, which includes, among other things, Tesla's coils and Tesla's egg, a donation from Telefonika. Panels representing the whole entitled "Energy for the Future: Nikola Tesla and the Development of Hydropower" were presented, which the Embassy provided in cooperation with the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade.
