First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic said in a statement aired live on Prva TV that as of a few days ago there were virtually no more Serbian citizens stranded at airports or border crossings abroad.

Dacic: "Efforts made by the MFA Emergency Task Force to provide assistance to our citizens in cooperation with offices of the President and the Prime Minister" PDF Print E-mail

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic said that the Ministry, in coordination with offices of the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister, was working to arrange assistance to Serbian citizens who were stranded at airports worldwide amid coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement for Tanjug news agency, Minister Dacic explained that the Emergency Task Force set up by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was working with offices of the President and the Prime Minister to provide assistance to Serbian citizens unable to leave various airports due to international traffic bans.
Serbian citizens have found themselves stranded at airports all over Europe also due to changes made in air traffic as a result of the measures to suppress coronavirus introduced by many countries.

In a statement for Tanjug news agency, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic said that the Serbian Government in coordination with President Aleksandar Vucic arranged an Air Serbia flight to Abu Dhabi which was expected to arrive at the Belgrade airport this evening bringing home 134 Serbian citizens, including five infants.
