Neven Sobajic’s Concert in Paris |

Serbian pianist Neven Sobajic gave a recital at the Serbian Cultural Centre in Paris, on 4 February. The concert, attended by around 50 listeners, mainly French, served Sobajic as part of his preparations ahead of the competition for the performance at the famous Carnegie Hall.

Serbian Poetry evening took place at Salzburg City Library, on 4 February. Poems written by the most famous Serbian authors from the "Former Angels" anthology were recited, while the compositions by Vlastimir Pericic and Dejan Despic made the musical intermezzo. Apart from the Library's director, Dr. Helmuth Windinger, students of the German language and literature, and the poet Marko Dinic, took part in the organization of the programme.

On the occasion of Saint Sava's Day, a traditional celebration which gathered a large number of citizens of the Republic of Serbia was held in the German province of Hessen. Children attending supplementary school classes in the Serbian language staged a performance about Saint Sava's life and work.
