Diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of South Africa had the opportunity to promote cultural and other values of their countries, on the occasion of the ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of liberty and democracy in South Africa. The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia presented Serbian natural beauties, cultural, historical, sports and culinary excellence, and won on the occasion a prize and insignia of the Pretoria Executive Mayor K. Ramokgopa.

"On the occasion of the Jubilee, 175 years of the existence of Serbian Singing Society "Jedinstvo" (Unity) in Kotor, after the opening of the exhibition "St. Basil at sea" of painter Veljko Mihajlovic from Belgrade, on 17 October 2014, the Secretary of SSS "Jedinstvo", Mr. Dragan Djurcic presented a special Letter of acknowledgement to the former Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Herceg Novi, Dr. Marina Jovicevic, in recognition of the assistance provided during her term to SSS "Jedinstvo".

The Cultural Center of the Republic of Serbia in Paris hosted a panel discussion titled "Literary evening dedicated to Milos Crnjaski", on 2 October 2014. Participants of the panel were Dr. Jelena Novakovic, professor in the Department of Romance Languages, Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, and Nina Zivancevic, a poet, novelist, essayist and literary critic, and actor Sasa Petronijevic who read fragments from Crnjanski's works.

As a result of the efforts of the Serbian Embassy in Japan, at the invitation of Japanese conductor Mr. Mitsuyoshi Oikawa, a pianist from Serbia, Ms. Irina Naumovska held a series of recitals in major cities on the Island of Hokkaido, in September 2014. The concerts were benefit events, and all the funds raised by ticket sales were intended for assisting the victims of the Tohoku earthquake in Japan and the flood victims in Serbia.

Aid from the citizens of the Russian Federation for flooded areas arrived in Serbia |

An aircraft of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Response landed today at "Nikola Tesla" Airport, carrying the humanitarian aid intended for flood victims in Serbia. This is the second consecutive aid shipment organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Moscow.
