A presentation of the investment potentials of the Republic of Serbia was made at an event organized on the premises of the Italian Interior Ministry's Club, on 25 January 2017. The presentation was held by the Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Rome, Minister Counselor Tatjana Garcevic, while the moderator was Italian journalist and former spokesman for "FIAT" Giuseppe Zaccaria.

"Serbia to Tokyo", a book of stories by Branka Takahashi, written in Japanese, was launched on the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Tokyo, on 13 January 2017. The book, consisting of four stories, is the author's first book in Japanese to be published in Japan (Michitani Publishing House).

A memorial conference dedicated to Nikola Tesla "Wireless Transmission of Electric Energy - Tesla Laboratory Colorado Springs" was held for the fourth time, at New Yorker Hotel. The conference was organized by the Tesla Science Foundation, under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York. The conference is traditionally taking place at New Yorker Hotel, where Tesla spent his final years.

A book by Mladen Obradovic titled "A Brief History of Economic Relations between Serbia and the US" was presented at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Washington D.C. The study follows the evolution of Serbia-US bilateral trading relations from 1881 to date, with a special chapter being dedicated to the contribution that Mihajlo Pupin and Nikola Tesla made to world science.

Bilingual monograph (in Serbian and English) titled "Serbia in the 19th Century Seen by Foreigners", authored by Professor Svein Mønnesland, a Norwegian Slavonic studies expert, was presented at the Historical Museum of Oslo, on 14 December, co-organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Norway and the Historical Museum.
