osce logoIn view of the next round of the Geneva International Discussions which is scheduled for 17-18 March, the co-chairs held consultations with participants in Tbilisi, Sukhumi, Tskhinvali and Moscow. Ambassador Angelo Gnaedinger, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the South Caucasus, visited Tskhinvali, Sukhumi and Tbilisi from 16-20 February and Moscow on 5 March together with his fellow co-chairs, EU Special Representative Herbert Salber and UN Representative Antti Turunen.

dacic -_intervju_za_finsku_televiziju“Serbia, as the current OSCE Chair, coordinates negotiations on the extension of the mandate of the Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine by 12 months, rather than by 6 months, as has been the practice thus far”, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, First Deputy Prime Minister / Minister of the Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic said today in an interview for a Finnish television documentary film commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Helsinki Final Act.
“The negotiations should be completed soon, and the support that the Normandy Four and the EU give to the work of the Mission points to the valuable role played by this field operation”, said Dacic.

dacic -_zanijer“All sides in eastern Ukraine must continue to fulfill their obligations under the Minsk Package of Measures in good faith”, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic said today in Vienna following a meeting with the OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier and the Permanent Representatives of the two other Troika members – Ambassadors Thomas Greminger of Switzerland and Rudiger Ludeking of Germany.
