First Deputy Prime Minister A. Vucic and the then Minister of Finance and Economy M. Dinkic visited Abu Dhabi on 18 October 2012, where they met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Sheikh M. Al Nahyan visited Belgrade on 9 January 2013, when he met President Tomislav Nikolic. First Deputy Prime Minister A. Vucic was on a visit to Abu Dhabi from 16 - 17 February 2013. Former Minister M. Dinkic was on a visit to Abu Dhabi from 27 - 28 March 2013. First Deputy Prime Minister A. Vucic was again on a visit to Abu Dhabi from 26 - 30 October 2013. The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Abu Dhabi started working on 26 August 2013. Economic relations: The Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Etihad airline from the United Arab Emirates signed a strategic partnership agreement on 1 August 2013 in Belgrade, which envisages Jat Airways liquidation, followed by the formation of a new airline, Air Serbia. From January to August 2013, Serbian exports amounted to € 5. 27 million, and imports to € 10. 44 million. |
