• First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić met Foreign Minister of the Portuguese Republic Augusto Santos Silva on the margins of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Nicosia on 19 May 2017
• Former President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić paid an official visit to the Portuguese Republic in January 2017
• Secretary of State for European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Portuguese Republic Margarida Marques visited Belgrade in December 2016
• Minister without portfolio responsible for European integration Jadranka Joksimović paid a visit to Lisbon on July 2015
• Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Portuguese Republic Rui Machete paid a visit to Serbia on 18 March 2015.

Economic relations:

The value of trade from January to May 2017 amounted to EUR 17,8 million, out of which exports were EUR 6,2 million and imports EUR 11,6 million.
