Opening of the Hungarian Consulate in the Republic of Serbia, headed by an honorary consul

Kragujevac 2018.The Consulate of Hungary in the Republic of Serbia, headed by an honorary consular officer, Prof. Dr. Milan Radunovic, was formally established in Kragujevac, on 22 March 2018. In line with the established diplomatic procedure, an official opening ceremony was organized, and the letter of commission and the exequatur were exchanged. On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Acting Assistant Minister of Consular Affairs, Ambassador Aca Jovanovic, handed the exequatur to the Honorary Consul, admitting his to the exercises of his functions in the territory of the Sumadija, Pomoravlje, Rasina and Branicevo Districts. The ceremony marked the commencement of work of the Hungarian Consulate.

The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Sumadija and Pomoravlje Districts and the Western Balkans Department of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was signed at the Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The ceremony was attended by Zsolt Csutora, Deputy State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Industry; Atila Galambos, Director of the Western Balkans Department of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Atila Pinter, Ambassador of Hungary in the Republic of Serbia; Radomir Nikolic, Mayor of Kragujevac; Predrag Lucic, Director of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Kragujevac, including prominent public personalities of the Republic of Serbia, members of the consular corps, and other Serbian officials.
